Rooted Reentry

About Us

We are a grassroots collective of BIPOC community organizers, cultural workers, and volunteers who are, respectively, formerly incarcerated, family members, and/or system-impacted folks who are invested in organizing efforts committed to abolition.

Our mission is to offer the support and resource required to meet the humanity of Black, Indigenous and People of Color community members impacted by the carceral system via relationship building and community engagement.

We envision a world where our system-impacted community members’ humanity/home is ROOTED in community and not the experiences and trauma caused by systems.
